I recently had an opportunity to shoot two great looking brother and sister for their family Christmas card. First time ever that I shoot with a full grown horse!! I was a little nervous because I have never been around a horse before, but excited as well to be able to shoot with one. The sister was very comfortable around the horse as the trainer advises her what to do. The brother was a little uneasy at first but got settle down and we got some great shots of him handling the horse like a champ! Happy holidays everyone! Thanks for stopping by!
When Karen asked me to shoot her engagement at the Arboretum, I was super excited as I have not shoot here before. There are so many locations at the Arboretum to shoot, thus, we were there for almost 4 hours!!! I couldn't have asked for better weather for our session. It was cloudy and a little windy to keep me cool from running around by myself :-). I didn't have to use any modifier except one shot against the sun since it was perfectly cloudy with soft lighting. I love using natural light to show natural beauty :-). I asked Karen and Chan to show up "connected" for the day and allow me to capture...
First, congrats to Kayly and Mang!!! It's a boy!!! With maternity photos, I like to take a different approach and not just focus on the belly but as a family. Most of the time, I see photos just focus on the mom and don't include the father's relationship with the mom and her beautiful belly. As a future father myself, I'd love to have some memory with my son/daughter while they are in the womb. But of course, we can't escape the glowing face of a mother to be and her sexiness showing off her belly. Texas weather was a little crazy while we shot this outside. We didn't expect it to be in the 40's....
Though I have shots children before, I have not shoot any toddler in the past. Nina and Sing are close friends of mine whom recently had Leila, she is now 4 months old. I shot Nina's maternity and told her that it would be great if I shoot Leila and record her timeline. I fell in love with Leila when I first saw her. She has one of the coolest baby hair that you ever see. It's like it's been styled by a hair stylist. It was a little hard to get her smiling but with the help of papa Sing and mama Nina, we were able to captured Leila's smiles and poses. We were able to play with...
Ok, finally I am going to start blogging.
I recently finished designing the album for Brian and Leanne. We chose to combine both the bridal session and the day with 44 sides with size 11x14 to save a few change :-) . I think it's perfect to tell Brian & Leanne's story. Albums should last forever with the couple, thus, I love to stick with classic look and not try to over do with the layout. I can't wait to receive the actual album.
