When Karen asked me to shoot her engagement at the Arboretum, I was super excited as I have not shoot here before. There are so many locations at the Arboretum to shoot, thus, we were there for almost 4 hours!!! I couldn't have asked for better weather for our session. It was cloudy and a little windy to keep me cool from running around by myself :-). I didn't have to use any modifier except one shot against the sun since it was perfectly cloudy with soft lighting. I love using natural light to show natural beauty :-). I asked Karen and Chan to show up "connected" for the day and allow me to capture...

First, congrats to Kayly and Mang!!! It's a boy!!! With maternity photos, I like to take a different approach and not just focus on the belly but as a family. Most of the time, I see photos just focus on the mom and don't include the father's relationship with the mom and her beautiful belly. As a future father myself, I'd love to have some memory with my son/daughter while they are in the womb. But of course, we can't escape the glowing face of a mother to be and her sexiness showing off her belly. Texas weather was a little crazy while we shot this outside. We didn't expect it to be in the 40's....
